1993-1996 a. Fabrication of YBCO/MgO step-edge Josephson Junctions & SQUIDs. b. Pb/Au/YBCO c-axis sandwich type Josephson junctions for pairing symmetry experiments. c. Study surfaces and gap structures of high-TC superconductors by using scanning tunneling microscopy. d. Scanning Electron Microscopy(S-2400,Hitachi), Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (Park Science),and surface profilometer(3030ST,Dektak) operation. e. Set up a high vacuum evaporating system for Au, Pb films, and RF sputtering system for YBCO films. f. Using PC and GPIB interface to design an automatic measuring system. g. Photolithography, ion milling. h. Mechanical design (AutoCad) & operation( the lathe and milling machines…) . i. Low Temperature techniques. |
